In a race that came as no surprise to many, Keegan Swenson took home first place with a gain of 14 points in the overall ranking, solidifying his position as a force to be reckoned with in the gravel racing circuit.
The race also lived up to expectations for Alexey Vermeulen and Payson McElveen, who took second and fourth places respectively. Vermeulen and McElveen each gained ~15 points (numbers above are rounded). Both racers have solidified their reputations as top finishers, living up to the pre-race predictions.
However, the spotlight also shines on Brennan Wertz and John Borstelmann, who broke into the top five against the odds. Wertz made a significant jump, gaining 20 points and moving from 1094 to ~1115. Borstelmann was hot on his heels, amassing a 20 gain, elevating from 1058 to ~1078. These racers saw the greatest gains in their overall ranking and scores, disrupting the field and proving that they're racers to watch in future competitions.
